Reading with a young child is the single most important activity to prepare him or her for school.

The Early Learning Partnership knows that the first years of a child’s life are the most critical. The development of the brain in the first four years determines much of what a child will be capable of the remainder of his or her life. Our work with collaborative partners is an important function of our community’s economic development for we are preparing future tax payers and leaders. We simply cannot afford to allow our children to fail. They are indeed our most valuable resource.

Join us as we work together to help our youngest citizens Read. Bond. Grow.

Approximate numbers to be served in 2016-17:

  • Born to Read - 400 children
  • Wee Read - 200 children
  • Reach Out and Read - 18,000 child visits
  • I Think I Can... Read! - 1300 children

  • The Early Learning Partnership of York County is classified as a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit by the Internal Revenue Service.
